In this category we recognise those who have led a team of administrative professionals and helped them to progress in their roles and careers. Are you a Secretarial Manager, Team Leader or would you like to nominate a person in this position? In this category, we would like to hear about leadership abilities, relationship building and how you maintain enthusiasm and energy whilst getting the best performance out of team members. How do you excel and stand out in managing your team? Can you give examples of how you have shone individually making your team of support staff the best in the business.


Teamwork really does make the dream work! Were looking for a super team of three or more support professionals from the same company, who go above and beyond in their work duties. We want to see examples of how you have worked together to set objectives, provide fantastic support for each other, adding value to the organisation you work for and your examples of a fully engaged team.


The best leaders lead by example! Have you encouraged and inspired others so much so that you have become a person they want to learn from? How have you gone the extra mile to help others reach their goals and release their potential? Do you or a colleague lead with actions as well as words? Do you help others with rising to the challenge? Who do you look up to as your mentor and how have you used lessons learnt to instill passion and enthusiasm in others to always achieve more?

LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD (20+ years within the industry)

This award celebrates an individual who has sustained a support role in an ever-changing industry, for over twenty years. Are you able to demonstrate how you have upheld your skillset and professionalism during your career? What would you say has been your most defining achievement in your career?  We want to hear the opportunities you have taken to progress and the advice you would give your younger self today.

NEWCOMER OF THE YEAR - (2 years or less in a support role at time of Application) 

Are you the rising star in your business and eager to progress in this industry? Have you brought ideas, skills and initiatives into your new business? If you have been in an administrative support role for two years or less we want to hear what made you embark on this industry as a career and how you have excelled in your role? Tell us about key achievements to date and the impact you have made so far.


In this category, we would like to celebrate the independent virtual assistants and their contribution to this industry. Do you communicate with clients, team mates and the customers of your clients from a remote location? How have you built a successful VA business? Have you succeeded and maintained a sustainable role in what is fast becoming a competitive profession? We would like you to demonstrate your enthusiasm and desire for your business and role whilst working from a virtual workplace



Do you use your skills to organise charity events for your organisation? Are you involved in any D&I networks? Do you support sustainability in your workplace? This award recognises administrative professionals who have a passion for CSR within the business or outside of work. We would like to hear examples of your great work and the contribution you have made to your business or community alongside your day to day role.


Events/Projects are often organised above our day job as PA’s and ensure we step out of our comfort zones, whilst creating great opportunities for the business. Have you or a colleague been asked to organise an event/project for your firm? Do you want to recognise a team-mate who created an event/project using creative and logistical skills? Is there a definitive event/project you are most proud of? We want to hear about a successful event/project and how the final result exceeded delegate expectations.


This category looks to recognise the best internal PA, EA, VA’s and support professional networks within companies and organisations in the West Midlands. Tell us all about why and how your network started? Do you use this platform to promote and share best practice, information and create a unified sense of collaboration between all Assistants?  Do you and your internal network help to build stronger relationships internally and externally? How has this network contributed towards better teamwork and learning and development initiatives across the organisation?  Please tell us about the impact that your internal network has made within your organisation?


From C Suite PA’s to VA’s, this award is for individuals in a support role who have consistently gone above and beyond their day job. Its the big one so why not go for it? We want to be blown away by your achievements to date. Do you demonstrate the qualities of our previous categories? Are you a PA who demonstrates the close working partnership type relationship with your boss? Are you skilled at supporting with the strategic direction of the whole overall business and been closely involved in key projects?  We want to recognise individuals who have shown excellence across their career and are a shining embodiment of the role. We want to hear about the highlights of your career and the positive impact you have made on your business. Demonstrate how you stay one step ahead of your executives to provide the ultimate service.

Do you act in an ambassadorial capacity perhaps on a global/International scale?  Are you the right hand person allowing your boss to deliver and manage objectives across the business as a whole and be the key interface between the board and the rest of the business.  If you can demonstrate continued commitment to the PA profession, this is the category for you?
